Rebecca Lynn Thoreson is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who plays flute, keyboards, accordion, and a bit of acoustic guitar. A prolific lyricist, she weaves a kaleidoscopic tapestry of rock and country, reggae and funk, soaring ballads and a dollop of humor in the album, Come on Home.
Radio fans will know Bec from her years as a broadcaster, aka “Becky T” on the radio.
As a performer, she has had the honor of working with many stars of stage and screen including Canned Heat, Karen Black and Taj Mahal. She mixed sound for Keith Carradine and Ricky Lee Jones and opened for legendary performers including Leon Russell and Edgar Winter.
She was inducted into the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame as an Individual Artist in 2019, and as a member of Lake Patrol in 2024.
She resides in the Iowa Great Lakes area where she continues to write and perform.
